CARTERVILLE, Ill. (WSIL) -- Rain is continuing to come down on Saturday but we see a light at the end of the tunnel as it looks to end on Sunday.
It's been a long week full of storms which have brought tornadoes, hail, high winds and flash flooding. Saturday evening is the main focus we need to watch out for as the constant heavy rain is causing many roads, creeks and fields to flood.
Furthermore, the rivers are continuing to climb which will create major flooding for some communities along these rivers.
Temperatures will stay steady around 46 degrees throughout the evening with winds at about 10-15 mph.
On Sunday, chances for rain are still in place for the early part of the day, however, they will move out of the area and we will finally start drying off. High temps will range in the mid 40s with the low at around the freezing mark.
The rest of the week we are rebounding and will see some sun with temps climbing each day to about up to 70 on Thursday.
