Clear conditions and calm winds will allow for temperatures to dip into the low teens by Friday morning.
CARTERVILLE Ill. (WSIL) -- Temperatures will plummet again overnight. Clear skies and calm winds will allow temperatures to drop into the low teens by Friday morning. You may want to bundle up before heading out the door.

Friday will be very similar to Thursday. Abundant sunshine is expected, but high temperatures will stay well below average. Highs will only top out in the mid to upper 30s.Â
The weekend will bring more comfortable conditions. Saturday, highs will be much closer to average, near 50 degrees. This will likely be the pick day of the weekend because plenty of sunshine is expected.Â
On Sunday our next storm system arrives. Temperatures will warm into the low 50s, but the chance for rain will return during the afternoon and continue into Monday.
Rainfall amounts currently range from a half an inch to the northwest, to an inch and a half to the southeast.
