Quite a few clouds are expected throughout the day, likely keeping temperatures in the upper 20s during much of the afternoon. A few snow flurries can't completely be ruled out, especially near the Wabash River in southeastern Illinois.
Christmas morning will be the coldest morning so far this season. Temperatures will drop into the lower teens with wind chills near zero!
