(WSIL) -- Showers and thunderstorms will be much more prevalent in the south, but rain can't be ruled out in southern Illinois on Saturday.
West Kentucky, northwest Tennessee, and southeast Missouri will see scattered thunderstorm activity this afternoon, with chances in southern Illinois being more isolated. Our warm and moist air mass will linger in the coming days. This will likely keep us slightly warmer than average, despite daily rain chances being a hindrance to afternoon highs.
I am tracking a big change up for next week that will bring a fall like feel to the air, this morning on News 3.
