(WSIL) -- Health departments across the region are reporting 44 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday February 6, 2021. Officials also confirming the death of an additional resident.
Franklin County:
- Females: two in their 40’s one in their 50’s, one in their 60's and one in their 70's.
- Males: two in their 40’s, one in their 50’s and tone in their 70’s.
To date, there have been a total of 4,136 laboratory confirmed positives in Franklin county of COVID-19, including 56 deaths. Of those positive cases 2,656 have recovered in Franklin county.
Gallatin County:
- Male: 1 in their 80’s
Gallatin County has a total of 458 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths.
Jackson County:
- Female: 1 under ten, 2 in their twenties, 1 in her thirties, and 1 in her sixties.
- Male: 1 under ten, 1 teen, 1 in his thirties, and 1 in his sixties.
Health officials are monitoring 135 active cases. Jackson County has had 4,520 cases to date, with 68 related deaths. So far 4,317 individuals released from isolation, including 14 Saturday.
Saline County:
- Female: 1 in their teens, 1 in their 70’s, 1 in their 80’s
- Male: 1 in their 40’s, 1 in their 70’s
To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,352 lab confirmed positives, including 43 deaths.
White County:
- Female: 1 in their teens, 1 in their 30’s, 2 in their 60’s, 1 in their 70’s
- Male: 1 under the age of 10, 1 in their teens, 1 in their 40’s, 1 in their 50’s, 1 in their 80’s
White County has had a total of 1,639 lab-confirmed positives, including 24 deaths.
Williamson County:
- Females: one preteen, one teenager, one in their 20’s, one in their 30’s, one in their 60’s, and one in their 70’s.
- Males: two in their 20’s, one in their 40’s and one in their 60’s.
Health officials are confirming the death of an additional resident, a man in his 60's. His passing brings the county to 111 lives lost.
To date, there have been a total of 6,857 laboratory confirmed positives in Williamson county of COVID-19, so far 4,134 have recovered.
Illinois Department of Public Health:
The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) reported 3,062 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus disease Sunday, including 60 additional deaths.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 1,144,281 cases, including 19,585 deaths across the state.
A total of 1,294,498 vaccines have been administered in the state.
