The Aquatic Zoo will reopen Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. as usual. The positive staff member, as well as anyone who had close contact, have been placed in quarantine.

MT. VERNON (WSIL) -- The Aquatic Zoo in Mt. Vernon is temporarily closed.
The business posted on Facebook that a staff member tested positive for COVID-19 and they are closing Monday.
The Zoo stated they would rather be cautious for the safety of staff and guests.
Plans for reopening will be posted on their as soon as possible.
