(WSIL) -- Health departments across southern Illinois are reporting six new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, May 30, 2021.
Franklin County:
- 2 new cases
- Total Cases: 4643
- Total Deaths: 69
Jackson County:
- Female: One in her 40's
Health officials are currently monitoring 29 active cases. Jackson County has had 5,139 cases to date, with 73 related deaths. Of those positive cases, 5,037 individuals released from isolation, including two Sunday.
Williamson County:
- 3 new cases
- Total Cases: 7757
- Total Deaths: 127
Illinois Department of Public Health:
The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) reported 602 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus disease Sunday, including 18 additional deaths.
In addition, 67% of Illinois adults have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose and more than 50% of Illinois adults are fully vaccinated, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 1,381,665 cases, including 22,794 deaths across the state.
A total of 11,269,651 vaccines have been administered.
