MARION (WSIL) -- New COVID-19 cases were reported across southern Illinois Saturday.
The Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department announced one new COVID-19 case in Williamson County.
The health department said the new case is a woman in her 30s who likely acquired the illness in a healthcare setting. The woman is at home and in isolation.
To date, there have been 33 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Williamson County and 9 confirmed cases in Franklin County.
Of the positive cases, 13 have recovered in Williamson County and 5 have recovered in Franklin County.
The Egyptian Health Department also reported one new case in Saline County. The health department says a man in his 30s is at home in isolation.
It is the fourth confirmed case of COVID-19 in Saline County.
, the Jefferson County Health Department announced one new case of COVID-19, along with three additional deaths in Jefferson County.
Currently, the is reporting 58,505 cases of COVID-19, including 2,559 deaths.
