(WSIL) -- Dozens of new COVID-19 cases were reported in southern Illinois Thursday. Nine local counties announced additional positive cases.
FRANKLIN COUNTY
- Males: One in their 50s and one in their 60s
- Females: One in their 20s, two in their 40s, two in their 50s, one in their 60s and one in their 70s
There have been 66 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Franklin County. Of those, 38 have recovered.
GALLATIN COUNTY
- Females: One in her 60s
- Males: One in his 60s
There have been 11 cases of COVID-19 in Gallatin County. Egyptian Health Department says the two new cases are at home and in isolation.
HARDIN COUNTY
- Females: One man in his 50s and one in her 80s
To date, five cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Hardin County. One individual has since recovered.
JACKSON COUNTY
- Females: Five in their 20s and one in her 50s
- Males: One in his 30s and one in his 50s
The Jackson County Health Department has had 378 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 19 related deaths. Thirty-nine active cases are currently being managed.
JOHNSON COUNTY
- Females: One under 5 and one in 10s
- Males: One in his 30s and two in their 50s
There have been 35 total cases of COVID-19 in Johnson County. Eighteen of those have recovered.
PERRY COUNTY
- Males: One in his 20s and one in his 70s
The Perry County Health Department has had 65 cases of COVID-19, including one death. Six cases are currently active.
POPE COUNTY
- Female: One in her 80s
This is the third case of COVID-19 in Pope County. Two of the three cases are still active.
PULASKI COUNTY
- Males: One in his 20s
Southern Seven Health Department says there's been 88 cases of COVID-19 in Pulaski County. Of the positive cases, 54 have since recovered.
SALINE COUNTY
- Females: One in her 20s, two in their 30s, four in their 50s, and one in her 60s
- Males: One in his 50s and one in his 70s
To date, there have been 30 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Saline County
UNION COUNTY
- Females: One in her 40s and one in her 50s
Union County has seen 216 cases of COVID-19, including 17 deaths. Currently, there are 57 active cases.
WHITE COUNTY
- Males: One in his 90s
Egyptian Health Department says this is the 25th confirmed case of COVID-19 in White County. The man is at home and in isolation.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY
- Males: One child, one teenager, one in their 20s, two in their 40s
- Females: One in their 50s
Williamson County has had 183 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including four deaths. Of the positive cases, 133 have since recovered.
On Thursday, the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) announced 1,257 new cases of COVID-19, including 25 additional deaths, in the state.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 157,950 cases, including 7,251 deaths.
