America's Car-Mart conducts toy drive for area organizations to give to those in need

MARION, Ill. (WSIL) -- A local businesses is collecting toys through the month of November to help local organizations give to those in need.

America's Car-Mart is collecting new unwrapped toys through November 30.

The toys collected will be donated to the Salvation Army, Poshard Foundation, Benton Ministerial Alliance and Angels on Assignment.

“It’s rewarding to know that we can make a difference for families here in Southern Illinois," General Manager Amy Mullis said. "We take for granted that we can get our kids toys, but some people can’t.�

This is the 16th annual toy drive event for Car-Mart here in Illinois.

“Oh, everybody gets excited about it, Mullins added. "And, it’s just nice to know you can give back and help people in need. It’s a very good feeling. Share your joy, give a toy. Every toy makes a difference.�

Drop off locations are at any of the America's Car-Mart locations in Marion, Benton and Mt. Vernon.

$99 down plus sales tax and a $10 toy donation is your down payment this month.
