VIENNA, Ill. (WSIL) -- Officials in Vienna are offering bottled water for their water customers for a third day in a row following the "Do Not Drink Water" order on Friday.

Vienna city officials will be out on Monday, November 4, from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the Vienna City Park to distribute water for Vienna Water Department customers.

Officials said there is still a "Do Not Drink Water" order as of Sunday night.

The water distribution is only for customers with the Vienna Water Department, officials announced.

City officials urge anyone who is elderly or mobility impaired to contact 618-658-8264 for delivery.

The Vienna City Government informed the public on Saturday morning, stating the Illinois EPA informed them the water in Vienna is safe to bathe in, wash clothing and clean dishes with. However, they said it's recommended items be completely dry before use.

For more information, the Vienna Water Utility contact can be reached at 618-658-3821, local health department at 618-634-2297 and the ILEPA Office at 618-993-7200.
