(WSIL) -- A popular and highly successful restaurant chain is coming to Marion, IL.
News 3 has learned that Texas Roadhouse is officially setting up shop near the corner of West Deyoung St. and Williamson County Pkwy. That's across the street from Walmart and Black Diamond Harley Davidson.
Construction has been at a near standstill over the past year due to the pandemic, however construction workers and equipment are back on site.
Texas Roadhouse spokesperson Amanda Norton tells News 3 that the restaurant is tentatively expected to be open in October 2021.
Texas Roadhouse opened its doors in 1993. Since then, the company has grown to more than 580 locations in 49 states and 22 international locations in nine foreign countries.
