CARBONDALE, Ill. (WSIL) -- The will present their summer series "Cruel Summer" - films with cruel themes all set in the summer.
The summer series will include a film shown every week starting on June 20 and through the third week in August. This also includes a celebration of their 85th anniversary.
The lineup is as follows:
- Friday, June 20th - Challengers
- Friday, June 27th - The Varsity is celebrating their 85th anniversary with the original Fantasia
- Friday, July 11th - The Florida Project
- Friday, July 18th - Us
- Friday, July 25th - The Talented Mr. Ripley
- Friday, 8/1 - Chinatown
- Friday, 8/8 - Midsommar
- Friday, 8/22 - No Country For Old Men
