PADUCAH, Ky. (WSIL) -- The McCracken County Sheriff's Office reported a 23-year-old man was arrested after a brief foot pursuit on Monday.
The sheriff's office said Eric Ellington, 23, of Paducah, was spotted on a routine patrol. Authorities said he had an active parole warrant.
Ellington fled on foot when approached, leading to a brief pursuit by a deputy, the sheriff's office stated. Shortly later, authorities said they caught Ellington and arrested him.
The Paducah Police Department also assisted at the scene.
Authorities charged Ellington with fleeing or evading police in the third degree. He was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
