MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. -- A 34-year-old was arrested and taken to jail twice within 17 days in regards to drug investigations out of western Kentucky.
The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said Robert Miller, 34 of McCracken County, was first arrested and charged with trafficking in Methamphetamine on April 29.
Roughly a week-and-a-half later, Mr. Miller was reportedly released on bond on May 9.
Six days later, the sheriff's office said Miller was arrested again, this time being charged with Conspiracy to Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession of Hydrocodone, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, No operator's License, No Registration Receipt and Violation of Conditions of Release.
Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff's Office started investigating the latter incident after receiving a tip Miller was allegedly selling and attempting to buy methamphetamine. During an undercover exchange, detectives met up with Mr. Miller and stated he is alleged to have tried to purchase methamphetamine in the parking lot of a business in Paducah along Irvin Cobb Drive.
Miller was then searched and was reportedly found with crystal methamphetamine, a glass smoking pipe and hydrocodone, the sheriff's office said.
Miller was then taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
