JEFFERSON COUNTY -- A Bluford, IL man is behind bars after allegedly sexually assaulting a child.
On August 3rd, in the late afternoon hours, a complaint was made at the Sheriff’s Office involving the alleged sexual assault of a juvenile.
Deputies handling the complaint notified the detective division to respond to assist. The investigation revealed the assault took place at a rural Bluford, IL location and identified the suspect as 43-year-old Donald W. Dolgner of Bluford, IL. He was taken into custody, brought to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, and incarcerated on the felony charge of Criminal Sexual Assault.
Dolgner's bond is set at $200,000 and the investigation is ongoing.
