Billy Reed, 42

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (WSIL) A Calloway County man faces various charges after fleeing from deputies.

At approximately 10 a.m. on Thursday, the Calloway County Sheriff's Office tried to serve an arrest warrant on 42-year-old Billy Reed in Dexter.

Deputies say while serving the warrant, Reed fled the scene in a vehicle.

The sheriff's office says this led to a high-speed pursuit that lasted several miles.

A deputy eventually ended the pursuit near Almo by conducting a PIT maneuver that sent the suspect's vehicle into a ditch.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office says they're familiar with Reed, as this marks his 38th arrest since 2001.

Reed was transported to the Calloway County Detention Center.

He's facing charges of evading police, possession of meth, wanton endangerment, driving under the influence, operating on a suspended license, failure to maintain insurance, and other various traffic violations.
