Paducah police seek suspect in connection to shooting which injured female

Tony Wilson turned himself in on June 9, Paducah Police Department stated.

PADUCAH, Ky. (WSIL) -- The Paducah Police Department is investigating a shooting which they say happened on Sunday morning in the 5200-block of Parkside Drive.

Officers responded and reported finding evidence of the shooting at an apartment. A female victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and has since been released.

Tony M. Wilson was identified as the suspect by police. He is reported to be an acquaintance of the victim and is accused of fleeing before officers arrived, Paducah police said.

Police described Wilson as a black male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 250 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

The Paducah Police Department is actively searching for Wilson. They urge anyone with information about his whereabouts to call 270-444-8550.
