ANNA (WSIL) -- A beloved bakery is reopening its doors and giving back to the community first.
Davis Pastry recently announced that it will be back to selling it's delicious baked goods on January 18th.
The bakery to new owners in October after being in business for 66 years.
Many have been looking forward to its famous pink cookies and one person will enjoy a dozen of them a few days early.
Davis Pastry posted on its Facebook page that whoever bids the most money will get a dozen pink cookies on Wednesday.
All funds will go the local organization , which is in memory of a toddler who passed away from health complications.
The money will be used to help build an inclusive playground.
Currently, the highest bid for the cookies is $400.
Bids can be made on the Facebook post until Wednesday, January 15 at 4 p.m.
