CARBONDALE (WSIL)---A historic community center in Carbondale needs YOUR help after it sustained water damage from recent storms.
The Eurma Hayes Center had a water pipe burst last week and volunteers are still cleaning up the damage.
That damage is not extensive, but the lack of workers make it challenging.
"The lack of labor, on a consistent basis, is slowing us down also. But we will get there. A lot of people asking to help. Haven't seen much of that yet but we're working with what we have," said director Robert Wills.
If you would like to volunteer, go to the Eurma Hayes Center starting at 9:30 in the morning on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
