...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN WILLIAMSON COUNTY...

At 624 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Cambria, or
over Carterville, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Marion, Herrin, Carterville, Crainville, Cambria, Energy, Hurst,
Bush, Whiteash, Williamson County Regional Airport, Colp, and
Spillertown.

This includes Interstate 57 in Illinois between Mile Markers 49 and
58.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Authorities ask for public's help in finding missing woman

CARBONDALE, Ill. (WSIL) -- The Carbondale Police Department is seeking help from the public to find Kaylyn F. Stallone, 32, from Rantoul, Illinois, on Friday.

Police said Stallone was last seen on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the 700 block of South Marion Street. She is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds, and has brown hair and hazel eyes. She was also carrying a green and blue backpack.

Stallone's family reported her missing after not hearing from her for three weeks. Authorities said she has a condition that puts her in danger.
