JOHNSTON CITY, Ill. (WSIL) -- Bandy's Pumpkin Patch is open and ready for the season.
Bandy's Pumpkin Patch has been open since 1986, making this year it's 38th year.
Kelly Bandy is a co-owner of Bandy's Pumpkin Patch. She told us along with the hayrides, maze and pumpkins, they have worked to make Bandy's Pumpkin Patch more accessible.
Bandy's Pumpkin Patch has added wheelchair accessibility to their hayrides and a free sensory shed.
Bandy also shared with us how she feels when opening the pumpkin patch each year.
"It's so cool cause even as a kid I came here as a child for school field trips and now I own the place with my husband." Bandy said. "It makes us feel really good. When parents come and they're like I brought my kid, and some of them are even bringing their grandkids. So, here in 38 years they are getting a lot of history with this and that makes us feel really good."
If you would like to visit , they are open Sunday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
