MARION, Ill. -- Work continues on a couple of restaurants in Marion this week.
Crews were working on putting up the sign at the Raising Cane’s restaurant on Tuesday afternoon. They used a large crane to help hoist up the electronic sign.
Construction crews were also pouring concrete around the facility. This includes the entrance to the property, as well as, the parking lot and drive thru lanes.
A representative with Raising Cane's tells News 3 they anticipate opening this restaurant in the fall later this year.
Construction is also moving forward just down the street, of what will be the new Chick-fil-A restaurant.
Crews were working on the front of the building on Tuesday afternoon. They have assembled scaffolding to help them work on the higher portions of the façade.
Other crews there were also working on concrete in the back side of the facility.
Chick-fil-A tells News 3 they also plan to open in the fall.
