BENTON, Ill. -- Authorities are urging people to avoid the area after a crash was reported along I-57 in Franklin County.
The Franklin County Emergency Management Agency alerted the public Thursday night at 8:41 p.m., urging people to avoid the area after a traffic crash occurred.
The crash happened along I-57 NB near the 69 mile marker.
A van was reportedly off the right side of the road way.
Emergency responders are on scene.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area and take alternative routes during this time.
