UPDATE: A juvenile faces attempted murder charge in connection to a shooting in Christopher.
CHRISTOPHER, Ill. (WSIL) -- Police are investigating a shooting incident in Christopher on Thursday morning.
The Christopher Police Department informed the public of the incident at 8:33 a.m. on January 30.
Police said the shooting happened at 1:49 a.m. on Church Street where one male was shot in the arm and torso.
The man was then sent to a St. Louis hospital. Police said the man should be okay.
Christopher police said they do have one person of interest identified, however, they are not in custody as of 1:20 p.m.
The incident is being investigated and we will pass along more information as it becomes available.
