* WHAT...Heat index values up to 108 expected.

* WHERE...All of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western
Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/ Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

Police looking for 1930 Ford Model A stolen in southern Illinois

GRAND TOWER, Ill. -- Authorities are looking for a yellow 1930 Ford Model A antique vehicle which was reportedly stolen on Christmas Eve morning.

Grand Tower Police Chief Colton Braswell said it happened on December 24, at around 4:30 a.m. in the Grand Tower area.

Braswell said there was also security footage of the vehicle leaving the area as well.
