THEBES, Ill. � Illinois State Police have released more information about a fatal crash in Alexander County.
It happened just after 9 a.m. Monday on Route 3 at Thebes.
Police say a 2006 Chevy Equinox driven by Tamika Littleton, 30, of Cairo, was headed north on Route 3 just south of Thebes Road when she crossed into the southbound lane, hitting a Ford F150 pickup truck.
Two passengers in the Chevy Equinox � Lohoma Willliams, 50, of Cairo, and a one-year-old girl were killed. Littleton and a four-year-old passenger were flown to a St. Louis hospital for treatment.
The driver of the pickup truck, Michael Wilson, 64, of Fancy Farm, KY, was taken to an out-of-state hospital.
Illinois State Police continue to investigate.

THEBES, Ill. � Illinois State Police are investigating a fatal accident on Route 3 in Alexander County.
It happened just after 9 a.m. Monday on Route 3 at Thebes. Police say an SUV and a pickup truck were involved in a head-on crash. There were five occupants in the vehicles. Investigators confirm two fatalities.
Route 3 was closed for approximately five hours.
