Jefferson County Suspects

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ill. -- Officials arrested two people in Ina on Thursday on reported charges of Child Pornography.

According to information from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, deputies executed search warrants on Tyler J. Stover, 28, and Julie R. Bulthuis, 25, at 511 S. Cross Street in Ina.

Jefferson County Deputies learned of the case from the Mt. Vernon Police, who received a tip about the situation on July 1. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office says it overtook the investigation as the situation was occurring in Ina.

Officials obtained and executed initial search warrants into the pair on July 2. At that time, the sheriff's office said deputies took evidence from the Ina address and submitted it to forensics analysis.

The States Attorney's Office received the results of the tests and issued formal charges and an arrest warrant.

Deputies say they brought the suspects to the Jefferson County Jail after Thursday's arrest. The two are awaiting a pre-trial detention hearing and remain innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
