FRANKFORT, KY (WSIL) -- Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear has put in an order for all flags in Kentucky to be flown at half-staff starting Tuesday.
The order is meant to honor the Floyd County peace officers who died after being shot in a standoff on June 30. Details on the incident can be read here. The flag-lowering will begin on Tuesday, July 5 at sunrise and end Thursday, July 7 at sunset. Funeral services for the fallen heroes will take course over the next few days in Prestonsburg, KY.
