GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. (WSIL) -- One person was taken to a hospital after a car crash along I-69.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office said the crash happened on September 14, at around 5 p.m. along I-69 in the southbound lanes at the 21 mile marker.

The sheriff's office said a 19-year-old from Mayfield was driving a 2003 Buick LeSabre going south when the vehicle started to hydroplane and then traveled off the road and on a rock embankment.

The driver was taken to the Jackson Purchase Medical Center for minor injuries.

A 19-year-old female, along with a infant, were also in the vehicle at the time of the crash, authorities said. The female and infant were evaluated at the scene but weren't injured.

Mayfield/Graves County EMS and the Mayfield/Graves County Rescue Squad assisted the Graves County Sheriff's Office with the crash.
