(WSIL) -- You might've seen a familiar face dancing and holding a big orange sign while driving through Carbondale, Herrin, Harrisburg or Marion.
Local sign shaker Quentin Casler says because of health reasons, he's retiring.
After a check up with his physician, he says his knee isn't healthy enough to keep dancing. Casler tells News 3 he's enjoyed being a Little Caesar's sign shaker for the past year.
He says his approach to any job is to bring the glory of God and smiles to people's faces.
"When I gravitated toward sign shaking, I just wanted to encourage people 'cause by that time, we're dealing with Covid. Covid was really bad. So I wanted to encourage people and motivate people that no matter what's going on, Covid can't stop us," he said.
Monday was Quentin's last day sign shaking.
He says he'll still work part time and make local appearances with the company. He also says he appreciates the community's support.
