MARION (WSIL) � The Marion Wildcats were looking for their second win of the season as they welcomed Jerseyville to town.
In the 1st, Wildcats� Lucas Will passes to Jonathan Tucker for a 95-yard touchdown. Marion gets the 2 point conversion, making it 8-0.
In the 2nd, Marion’s Drake Gravatt punches it in from the one yard line. Again, the Wildcats get the extra 2 points, now up 16-0.
Jerseyville’s defense put up some points of their own. Marion fumbled after a short pass and ended up in their end zone. Jerseyville scored the Safety for a score of 16-2 at halftime.
But Marion held on to win this one. 24-17 was the final.
