LILBOURN, Mo. -- An 18-year-old has serious injuries after being ejected from a vehicle during a crash on Tuesday.
Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash happened in New Madrid County along Route D, roughly 2.5 miles west of Lilbourn at 4:30 p.m. on February 6.
Police said an 18-year-old male from Parma was driving a 1994 Chevrolet S10 when the vehicle left the roadway. The driver then overcorrected and the vehicle hit a ditch and overturned. At this time, the driver was ejected from the vehicle.
The driver was air-lifted to Regional One Health in Memphis, Tennessee with serious injuries.
The damage to the vehicle was reported as totaled.Â
