POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (WSIL) -- Five people were injured after a two-vehicle crash in Butler County on Tuesday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crash happened on April 29, at 9:30 a.m. along US 60, roughly 7 miles east of Poplar Bluff.
State police said a 40-year-old man from Charleston, Missouri, was driving a 2014 Dodge Charger going east on US 60 when he hit the rear of a 2015 Honda Odyssey. The Odyssey then traveled off the road and flipped over.
The driver of the Charger was reported with serious injuries and flown to St. Francis Medical Center for treatment. State police said he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The 26-year-old driver of the Odyssey, along with a 49-year-old passenger, a 6-year-old passenger and a 2-year-old passenger, were all taken to the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor inquires, a crash report stated.
State police reported all four in the Odyssey had seatbelts on at the time of the crash.
