MOUNTAIN GROVE, Mo. -- A Kennett woman was air lifted to a hospital after running off the road and hitting a rock bluff with her car.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the crash happened at 2:40 a.m. just east of Mountain Grove in the southeast part of Wright County.

MSHP said Marsiah Nelson, 21 of Kennett, was driving a 2015 Chrysler 300, going east on US 60 when the vehicle went off the right side of the road and hit a rock bluff.

The highway patrol said she was taken by air ambulance to Cox South in Springfield for treatment.
