(WSIL) -- The Illinois Department of Transportation is warning drivers of an upcoming lane closure on U.S. 51 in Du Quoin.
Beginning Monday, March 8, weather permitting, U.S. 51 will be closed between Hickory Street and Division Street.
Crews will be making repairs to the railroad overpass bridge and is expected to last one month.
Message boards and signs will be in place to alert drivers of the closure. Drivers will need to find another route or follow the detour along Illinois 154 and Illinois 14.
