Every year a ton of Jeeps meet up in Mulkeytown to hunt for leprechauns for a good cause. That cause is making it possible for veterans to go to Washington D.C. through the Veterans Honor Flight of Southern Illinois.
MULKEYTOWN, Ill. (WSIL) â€� J & L Custom Automotive is finalizing preparations for the 2025 Leprechaun Hunt Jeep run.Â
The run includes jeeps and side-by-sides that will ride along trying to find leprechauns for prizes.Â
Organizers say all proceeds for the event are meant to fundraise for Honor Flight of Southern Illinois, that allows veterans to fly to Washington D.C.Â
In the past, the group has raised over $100,000 for veterans.Â
The run will be Saturday, March 15th.Â
Organizers say wristbands are $10 a person and it covers dinner at the Italian Club.Â
Line-up begins at 10 a.m. at J & L Custom Automotive and departs at 11 a.m.Â
After the run, everyone will meet at the Italian Club for dinner and a silent auction at 4:30 p.m.Â
