(WSIL) -- A southern Illinois business owner is moving forward with dreams of re-opening her business with a new restaurant during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Robin Moore and her husband are co-owners of "Steel Horse Saloon and Smoke House". Last May, the Carterville business on Dewmaine Rd. caught fire and was a total loss.
Moore tells News 3 that she and her husband were not ready to give up on their dream, so they bought a new location on Main St., off of Route 13 in Crainville.
Moore says even though restaurants and businesses are struggling, she believes they have put together a plan that will help their restaurant thrive, even in the era of COVID-19.
The new Steel Horse Saloon and Smokehouse is expected to open sometime in June 2021.
