Christopher police break up 15-person fight

CHRISTOPHER, Ill. -- Police responded to a large fight in Christopher on Saturday night. 

Police arrived on the scene of the Chestnut Street fight to find multiple parties involved. Reports say around 15 people were present. 

According to the Christopher Police Department, no arrests were made as a result of the fight. Police say they showed up and dispersed the group.

Franklin County Sheriff's Office confirmed they also responded to the fight. Sheriff Bacon told WSIL News 3 there was no indication the fight was gang related.
