POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Two people were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash in Butler County on Wednesday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) stated the crash happened along US 67, roughly one mile north of Poplar Bluff at 1:55 p.m. on March 20.

A 36-year-old woman from Poplar Bluff was driving a 2018 Jeep Cherokee, going east, when she pulled into the path of a 2011 Ford Ranger, driven by a 73-year-old man from Patterson, MSHP stated in a report.

Both of the drivers were taken to the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

Both vehicles were considered totaled and were towed from the scene by Barker's Towing.
