FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. -- Illinois State Police joined two local fire departments in a crash investigation early Sunday morning.

According to information from ISP,  the crash occurred on I-57 northbound near mile-marker 68. This is the same spot an overturned semi truck shut down the interstate on Friday. Sunday morning's crash occurred at about 3:30 a.m.

ISP said a passenger car ran into the back of a truck-tractor semi-trailer. No injuries were reported on the scene.

According to the West Frankfort Fire Department, the incident was relatively minor. Officials were not on scene very long.
