Man on bond for rape charge arrested in McCracken County for alleged drug scheme

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ill. -- McCracken County deputies arrested a man on bond for an alleged rape in relation to a suspected drug trafficking scheme. 

Officers received information suggesting an online chat forum served as the hub for the drug scheme. Personnel with the McCracken County Sheriff's Office started investigating and reportedly discovered Tyler Issacs, 33, of Brea, Kentucky, had linked up with a woman to bring her methamphetamine.

Officials found Issacs at a gas station on 2730 John L. Puryear Dr. Deputies then searched Issacs and his car and reported finding a pipe for smoking, drug paraphernalia and over seven grams of meth. 

A background check on Issacs revealed the former rape charge on a pregnant woman out of Lexington. 

Issacs now sits in the McCracken County Regional Jail facing the following charges:

  • Trafficking in Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 
  • Expired Registration Plate
  • No Registration Receipt
  • No Insurance
  • Failure to Transfer Motor Vehicle
