MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky.-- A woman in Marshall County was indicted with six counts of wire fraud on Wednesday.

A federal jury passed the indictment of Amanda S. Robertson, 33, for the crime occurring from May 2020 to May 2023. The document said Robertson spent her time as a bookkeeper to move funds around from her employer. She made over $1,000,000 in profit. This money went to electronic payments of her own bills.

Robertson will next appear before a U.S. Magistrate Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. She could receive up to 120 years in prison.

The FBI along with the Marshall County Sheriff's Office is continuing the investigation.Â
