MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. -- Blandville Road shut down overnight in McCracken County after two semi-involved crashes blocked the roadway at separate points.Â
Officials with the McCracken County Sheriff's Office first alerted drivers to the closure at about 6:30 Wednesday night. At this time, Blandville was closed between Childress and Fisher Roads.
Just over an hour later, authorities sent an update saying the road was further closed from the Blandville and KY 286 intersection to Buchannon Road.Â
Drivers were asked to avoid the area completely.Â
Members of the county's sheriff's office worked alongside the Concord Fire Department and McCracken County Rescue through the night to clear the scene. The road did not reopen until 5:02 a.m.Â
No word has been given on the state of any drivers at this time.Â
