Two charged in armed robbery of delivery driver

One adult and one juvenile are accused of pointing a gun at the pizza delivery driver and stealing the food.

MURRAY, Ky. (WSIL) � At around 11:30 p.m. Monday night, Murray police responded to an armed robbery call on the north side of town. 

Police say the pizza delivery driver was making a delivery to a home when two males pointed a gun at the driver and stole the food being delivered. 

After searching the area, officers discovered two males matching the robbers' descriptions in a nearby residence. 

Authorities say after further investigation, one adult male and one minor were charged. 

18-year-old Carter Collins was charged with 1st-degree robbery and 2nd-degree unlawful transaction with a minor. He was booked into the Calloway County Jail. 

The juvenile suspect was charged with 1st-degree robbery and was transported to the McCracken County Juvenile Detention Center.Â
