NORRIS CITY (WSIL) -- NCOE is playing with a lot of confidence and rightfully so.
They've recently won five in a row including the Greater Egyptian Conference Tournament.
Something the Fighting Cardinals have never done.
Lots of bragging rights go with winning that tournament.
Things are clicking for NCOE.
They've seen the growth since the start of the season.
They placed third at the Christopher Tournament, and built on that.
The team also played Carterville close in the Eldorado Holiday Tournament. NCOE didn't get the results they wanted but they knew they were getting closer to where they needed to be to achieve their goals.
And Coach Jim Tucker likes what he sees from his squad as we we head down the homestretch.
"We changed a few things up," Tucker said. "These boys can adjust to anything at any time and very proud of them for that situation. And the good thing with our team is we have so many different options that we are able to basically let each and every one of them shine at a different time throughout the game."
