...Cold air funnels will be possible...

Cold air funnels are expected today. These cold air funnels are
developing underneath a few showers that are moving across the
area. Underneath these showers...spinning columns of air that look
like tornadoes may continue to develop. These funnels usually are
very brief and rarely touch the ground. If these funnels do touch
down...they most likely will not cause damage to life or
property.

Cold air funnels are due to very cool air aloft...warm moist air
near the ground...and are usually in association with a strong
area of low pressure in the upper levels of the atmosphere. Due to
little or no wind shear...they are usually weak and very brief.

Marion's Zoey Danner signs NLI to join JALC Women's Golf Team

CARTERVILLE, IL (WSIL) - It has been an interesting Golf journey for Marion's own Zoey Danner.

She first picked up a golf club during her sophomore year and played for the Wildcats.

Then Danner transferred to Agape Christian high school.

She's on the the course nearly every day. Her hard work is paying off  she will join the golf squad at John A. Logan.

Logan women's golf coach mike bush was on hand and introduced the newest member of his team.

Then it was time make it officially official.

With her parents by her side the Logan commit signed her name on the dotted line.

It's a big moment for Danner as the program gets a big time addition.

Danner says she hopes to help the team earn some major tournament wins and card some good scores.

She also opens up on how the game of golf became her true calling.

It will be fun to watch her out there with the rest of the Lady Vols once the golf season rolls around.

They practice in January and start play in March.
