CARBONDALE, Ill. (WSIL) -- A beautiful day for a softball game and the Salukis did not disappoint on Saturday.
he Salukis (24-15, 15-1) kept their winning streak alive with a 6-3 win over Bradley (18-23, 7-9) on Saturday.
The biggest moment of the day was when Emily Williams hit a grand slam (her 11th homerun of the season) in the bottom of the fifth inning. This broke open the game with the Salukis on top 5-1. SIU would later bring in one more run.
Bradley would later add two more runs, however, it wasn't enough as SIU claimed the victory.

SIU is currently in first place in the Missouri Valley Conference and are ahead of Belmont in the standings by 2 games as of the afternoon on April 12.
