CARBONDALE (WSIL) -- SIU Quarterback Kare Lyles took to Twitter to announce he is entering the transfer portal.
He was the game one starter, got injured, played in the South Dakota State game on March 20th, but wasn't able to win back the starting job.
Lyles played in 3 games, and was 30-49 (61.22 %) passing for 261 yards, 2 TD, 4 INT.
He'll have one year of eligibility left.
