Beautiful day across the region; thunderstorms expected by Thursday

CARTERVILLE, Ill. (WSIL) -- Another beautiful day to get outside and enjoy the weather. Take advantage of the weather now because soon we will have another round of thunderstorms.

This morning we are starting out with some clouds moving through with temps in the lower 50s and very calm winds. As we move through the daytime, temps will reach into the mid 70s and clouds will start moving in. Winds will be around 5-8 mph.

Wednesday we will start out with clear skies with lows in the 50s and high temps are likely to reach into the upper 70s. Clouds will also move in the late afternoon and evening hours. Winds again will range at around 5-8 mph. 

Thunderstorms and rain chances return by Thursday and will stick around for the next couple of days.
